General Assembly of the National Dominican American Council on Sunday, February 11, 2018, 9am

Washington, DC– The National Dominican American Council (NDAC) will host its Annual General Assembly on Sunday, February 11, 2017 at Rutgers School of Law, 123 Washington Street Newark, NJ 07102.

NDAC members from around the United States have been convened to attend, accompanied by their team leaders. NDAC Chairman Nestor Montilla, Sr. will preside over the Assembly.

The NDAC Assembly is listed as one of the program highlights of the Conference on Dominican Affairs (CODA), a signature event of the Institute for Latino Studies, highly praised for becoming the only and most powerful state-wide annual event in the Latino and Dominican American calendars in USA. Every year and along the past 18 years, the Institute for Latino Studies has coordinated CODA to afford hundreds of participants, organizations, community and business leaders and students the opportunity to dialogue and strategize for community empowerment and advancement.

The NDAC Assembly includes the swearing-in of a new NDAC Executive Committee and new members and approval of the NDAC advocacy agenda.

NDAC Board Directors and members have been summoned to attend the plenary meeting accompanied by their team leaders.
